WEH® Fuelling Nozzle TK17 H2 70 MPa ENR with new features

With its unparalleled product solutions, WEH always strives to address the latest trends and market requirements. This is why the market-proven WEH® Fuelling Nozzle TK17 H2 70 MPa ENR for fuelling fuel cell passenger cars has been equipped with a number of new features.

The enhanced WEH® Fuelling Nozzle TK17 H2 70 MPa ENR features adjusted cable routing to allow for increased robustness of the fuelling nozzle.
In addition to this, a purging line for nitrogen purging has been integrated. It is now possible to purge the fuelling nozzle with nitrogen during and after the fuelling process. This prevents the ingress of moisture and the formation of ice crystals. The fuelling nozzle is therefore ideal for fuelling with pre-cooled hydrogen.
Thanks to the flushing feature, it is now easier to remove the fuelling nozzle from the receptacle in unfavourable climatic conditions.
A matching dispenser mounting with an integrated port for purging operations makes the product range complete.

It goes without saying that the fuelling nozzle features all the tried and tested characteristics of its predecessor.
The exchangeable nozzle receiver can simply be replaced on site in the case of damage or disruptions, and repair costs and downtimes are reduced as a result.

A protective full-length rubber sleeve does not only protect the vehicle and the front part of the fuelling nozzle against damage, impact and weather-related influences, but it also protects the operator’s hands against frostbite.

The fuelling nozzle’s 700 bar technology allows for extra quick fuelling of fuel cell passenger cars within just 2 or 3 minutes and it thus contributes to promoting acceptance of alternative fuels.
Another big advantage of the fuelling nozzle is its single-hand operation. The fuelling nozzle does not only resemble a petrol pump nozzle in appearance, its operation is virtually identical, too.

The new version of the WEH® Fuelling Nozzle TK17 H2 70 MPa ENR ideally addresses operator requirements and, at the same time, it makes hydrogen fuelling competitive compared to conventional petrol or diesel fuelling.
