TW17V | Function - Pneumatic Actuation with valve headThe WEH® Quick Connector TW17V connects instantly to internal threads. Only press the pneumatic valve head and plug the connector into the thread of the test piece. A safe and leak-tight seal is now established. Testing can now proceed by supplying the pressure medium.

WEH® TW17 | Actuation PossibilitiesThe WEH® TW17 Quick Connector is designed for sealing standardized internal thread applications. The TW17 Quick Coupling is available with different actuations: Manually with hand lever, pneumatically with valve head and pneumatically for external manual, semi or fully automatic control systems. Special versions, e.g. connectors in longer or shorter versions, as a plug or with hydraulic actuation etc. are possible.
The WEH® TW17V connector is the perfect tool for pressure, function and vacuum testing during production and rated for pressure up to max. 350 bar. The safe and pressure-tight connection to standardised female threads is established in just seconds – without tedious hand tightening.
No additional thread sealants are required, time-consuming and expensive clamping and testing devices are eliminated. The pneumatic actuation is very easy and requires only little effort. Simply press the valve button and place the connector loosely into the test piece. On frequent connection and disconnection considerable time and cost savings are achieved thanks to the automation.
Bores have been added as standard to the clamping jaws for body sizes 5 – 6 of the connector for increased media flow and enhanced productivity.
The quick connector is available for low pressure up to 50 bar and high pressure up to 350 bar. For manual actuation we offer the TW17H with hand lever, for pneumatic applications the TW17P for fully automatic control systems is the right choice.
Special versions such as e.g. longer or shorter versions, plug versions or versions for hydraulic actuation etc. are also possible.

Fast test connections for internally threaded components - WEH® TW17
The pneumatically actuated quick coupling TW17 is the ideal test fitting for pressure testing, leak testing and function testing of components with internal threads. They offer quick connect and quick disconnect thanks to the WEH® Jaw Locking Mechanism - Just push to connect. The TW17 quick release coupling is mainly used for leak testing of hydraulic components like engines, cylinders, pressure vessels, hoses etc., but also for vacuum and leak testing of automotive components.
Whether metric ISO threads (DIN 13), Whitworth tube threads (DIN ISO 228-1), BSPT, NPT or SAE-O-Ring Boss threads, the WEH® TW17 Quick Connector for pneumatic and hydraulic leak tests connects to virtually all standardised types of internal threads.
The higher the test pressure, the tighter the WEH® Connector will clamp itself into the threaded test piece port thus establishing a leak tight connection in just seconds – without hand tightening. The front O-ring reliably seals the connection and can be easily replaced during maintenance.
