WEH® TSA6 CNG | Breakaway to protect your CNG filling stationThe breakaway allows the vent line hose to safely disconnect, preventing damage to the dispenser in the event of a "drive off". Upon disconnection of the breakaway, flow from the compressor is stopped instantaneously by a valve, the check valve on the vehicle closes automatically preventing flow from the tank.

With TSA6 CNG, an inline breakaway coupling which is installed inbetween the filling hoses, is now also available for bus and truck fuelling stations Connection port filling line (dispenser side): UN 1 1/16"-12 external thread
Connection port filling line (to nozzle): UN 1 1/16"-12 external thread
The breakaway device consists of a coupling body and a receptacle insert.
We recommend the installation of a TSF5 CNG filter when using the TSA6 CNG inline breakaway coupling. The filter protects your system from dirt ingress
In the event of accidental deployment, e.g. driving a vehicle from the dispenser with the nozzle remaining in the vehicle fuel port, the coupling will separate the connections between dispenser and hoses sealing both ends. This protects largely the receptacle, the fuelling nozzle and the dispenser against damage. The detached coupling can be easily reattached and placed back in service after having been function tested.
